  • Open : For beginners and recreational players.

  • Pro : For the real powerhouses.

  • Duo and Relay : For teams that tackle it together.

So you don't have to perform at the top level right away — HYROX is about personal growth, not just the stage.

2. Worldwide identical: HYROX loves standardization

Wherever you participate in the world, the HYROX experience is exactly the same . Same distance, same exercises, same order. HYROX was created by Christian Toetzke (former Ironman organizer) and Moritz Fürste (Olympic hockey champion). Since the first race in Hamburg in 2017, HYROX has exploded to dozens of cities worldwide — with more locations added every year.
